Those Lazy, Hazy Days of Summer

Yesterday I received a message that simply read "06 Aug."  I wasn't quite sure what that meant so I responded and learned that it was my friend's way of saying that I hadn't posted on my blog since August 6th.  Well, that's true.  Although I do have a handful of posts in draft form.  But I'm going to chalk up my posting hiatus to the summertime.  You know, the living is so easy in the summertime. But vacation time is over, the kids are back in school.  And now I can get back to engaging in more "me time," because that's what this blog requires...time to just let my mind take me wherever I choose.

So, while I put the finishing touches on the Deborah's World video from my last show with Chris Base (yes I know, it's almost time for the next one).  Let me leave you with a couple of summer songs.  I need a couple of good summer songs today because it's so cloudy, damp and a little chilly
