Those Lazy, Hazy Days of Summer

Yesterday I received a message that simply read "06 Aug."  I wasn't quite sure what that meant so I responded and learned that it was my friend's way of saying that I hadn't posted on my blog since August 6th.  Well, that's true.  Although I do have a handful of posts in draft form.  But I'm going to chalk up my posting hiatus to the summertime.  You know, the living is so easy in the summertime. But vacation time is over, the kids are back in school.  And now I can get back to engaging in more "me time," because that's what this blog requires...time to just let my mind take me wherever I choose.

So, while I put the finishing touches on the Deborah's World video from my last show with Chris Base (yes I know, it's almost time for the next one).  Let me leave you with a couple of summer songs.  I need a couple of good summer songs today because it's so cloudy, damp and a little chilly

There's More Deborah's World on the Radio

The last show that I hosted while filling-in for my good friend Chris Base, host of Baseline with Chris Base on UBM.com, is now available on my YouTube channel.  I've enhanced each show by adding lots of images...which really adds another dimension to the show (just choosing the right pics had me laughing).

Deborah's World on the Radio!

The details have been worked out and I'm set to start my monthly, two hour show on Urban Broadcast Media.  My show will kick-off on Monday, May 11th, from 4-6pm.  The fun will happen during BASELINE with Chris Base.  So essentially, it's a show within a show. Chris is not only a real pro, he's good friend, and I thank him for opening his show to me.  He said to me, "Deborah, those two hours belong to you.  You're free to do whatever you want to do."  Well alrighty then, I'm going to do just that.

I'm calling the show Deborah's World, and like this blog, I'll talk about any and everything--what's

Let's Do It Again!

I'm going to do it again.  That's right. I'm going to host another show.  Well, kinda, sorta.  My good friend Chris Base has invited me to join him once a month for a couple of hours within his show, "Baseline with Chris Base" on Urban Broadcast Media (UBM).  So it's going to be a show within a show.  Rather Shakespearean don't you think?  I know what that means, but if you don't, it's okay.  It's a reference to a MidSummer Night's Dream, which happens to be one of the few things that I remember about it...it was a play within a play.

Well, let me tell you a little about what my plans, vision or thoughts are for this blog.  I really don't have much of a plan, but my vision for it is to be really organic--just top of mind.  Whatever comes
