Deborah's World Updates

The latest Deborah's World on the Radio is available.  Just click over to the On the Radio page to listen to it.  I was filling-in for Chris and was joined by a wonderful co-host, my husband James.  We covered lots of things including the riots in Milwaukee, the Olympics (kinda, sorta), Election 2016--that is to say Trump and Hillary and more.

Well, I just discovered a couple of things yesterday while tooling around on my blog and the Deborah's World Facebook page. I couldn't believe it, but all this time, my On the Radio Page was hidden from public view...I never noticed that...wow!  Only the Radio Archive page was visible and only one show was posted there.  I've corrected that. I also realized that the "sharing" feature on my Deborah's World Facebook was set to "friends only".  I've now changed that to "public" so when you share something, the recipient can actually see it (embarrassing).



I also spoke with a friend on yesterday who told me that he'd seen my blog and that he really likes it. He asked how many views did my blog have and I told him over 5,800 (which is true).  He was surprised and I asked him why was he surprised? He said that he noticed that I didn't have many likes or shares. He offered to recommend my blog on his site (which he says gets about 20,000 views a month). Cool.

To date, I really haven't focused on growing my audience, but I think the time has come.  So I would really appreciate your help in this area.  If you haven't "liked" my blog (if you do), please do so. Also, please share posts that you like and subscribe to this blog. If I didn't have the ability to see how many people come to my blog I would still write, but it's really nice knowing that people support what you're doing.

On my end, I'm a work in progress in terms of posting with more frequency, but I am trying to do better.  Also, I'm looking at some content enhancements that I think you'll really like....but that will take a little time to make happen.  By the way, if you look on the right panel of the blog, you will see a "Featured Post".  This is a previous post that I selected to be highlighted.
